The FRITZ!App TV is a valuable addition to the FRITZ!Box Cable with TV streaming functionality or a FRITZ!WLAN Repeater DVB-C. This app allows you to conveniently watch all free-to-air cable television channels on your Smartphone or Tablet (with Android Version 9.0 or later). The app makes use of the WiFi or LAN network in your home to distribute the television signal from the cable TV connection.

Please note: In order to use the FRITZ!App TV, you must have either a FRITZ!Box Cable with TV streaming functionality enabled or a FRITZ!WLAN Repeater DVB-C.

To start using the FRITZ!App TV, ensure that DVB-C or live TV streaming has been properly configured in your home network and that the channel search has been completed on your FRITZ!Box Cable or FRITZ!WLAN Repeater DVB-C. Once these steps are complete, launch the FRITZ!App TV. The app will automatically detect the available channels and load them into the channel list. This means you can start watching TV on your iPhone or iPad right away, without any additional configuration required.
